Meet Darlene

As a Life Purpose Coach® for Women, Life Plan Facilitator, a Grief Facilitator, and a Lifetime - Instructor certified by Life Purpose Coaching Centers International®, I, passionately desire to challenge women to take inventory as to where they are on their personal journey in life. 

God is using my love for speaking, teaching, coaching and authoring written material for women. Reflecting authenticity, I weave my personal stories throughout my speaking. I do know all to well how easy it is to get stuck in life. Humbly I share my stories of God’s pruning and the major life changes which jolted me to take inventory as to where I was at on my personal journey. The message of hope in my speaking and coaching is a flame that is being fanned by God’s passion and purpose in my life.  I am passionate to help women turn heart aches, hurts, hurriedness, hopelessness, or a hunger for more into purpose filled hope. 

I am a wife to Phil of 25 years, and a Mom to three children, all in their teens. God has transitioned me away from 18 years of teaching children, to teaching women. The Lord has used many things to pull, stretch, and grow my faith; years of infertility,  risky job transitions, unemployment, juggling integral parts of my husband’s political campaigns, a three year stint of multiple major life changes such as the sudden deaths of my father and  younger brother (both deaths of cardiac issues), my mom with Alzheimer’s, a major surgery that went askew, an international adoption, exchange students living within my midst and the daily demands of a busy growing family with the turbulent teen years. Internally, I have struggled with fears galore, perfectionism, rigidity, loneliness, busyness to the brink of burying myself alive, and that all familiar black tunnel that calls women’s name, depression.  However, through all of life’s turbulence, God is faithful. He saw my  heart, my needs, met them, and wants to meet yours as well.    

If you were to peek in on me when I had some down time, you would find me with an open book in my hand devouring books like Character Makeover, Captivating, Experiencing God, Pathway to Purpose for Women, Why?, Shame Lifter, or the scriptures to quench my thirst. I then take Biblical principles and create worksheets and coaching tools to enable women to easily grasp the truth with visuals. Often I use these tools in my coaching and teaching.

On a lighter or fun day you might see me walking on my back wooded trails with Phil,  laughing and dancing with one of my teens or enjoying a good cup of coffee at the local coffee shop with a friend. Life is short and I am enjoying my journey more so then ever.   I hope you are too!
